Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for John Lynfield Beazley, 82, who passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:30 am until 2:00 pm on Wednesday. Deacon Marcel Butch Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum - No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Mr. Beazley was born on April 29, 1935, to the late Adrian and Sadye Lewis Beazley in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. John was retired from the St. Martin Parish School System, where he coached football in St. Martin Parish for many years. Prior to his retirement he served as principal of Breaux Bridge Junior High School. Throughout his coaching career he belonged to many athletic organizations. He enjoyed watching football, playing on his computer, and being with his family. John will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Hoffpauir Beazley; his daughter, Angela B. Richard and her husband, Trevor; daughter-in-law, Kim Underwood Beazley; grandchildren, Jared Beazley, Jordon Beazley, and Jake Beazley; 6 great grandchildren; his brothers, Ray Beazley, Lewis Beazley, Gene Beazley, Donnell Beazley, and Roy Beazley; and his sisters, Beverly McDonald and Audrey Whitten.
