John Alvin Chaumont

Breaux Bridge - John Alvin Chaumont, 61, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at his residence.  

John was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. Throughout his life, he was passionate about spending time with those he loved. 

In addition to his love for family, John had many hobbies and interests that brought him joy. He had a natural talent for playing guitar, he enjoyed spending time with friends and family and whenever the opportunity arose, John loved nothing more than talking about Big Foot.

He is survived by his daughter, Bree Courville (Clint Brizendine); son, Bryce Chaumont (Jolie); brothers, Richard Chaumont and Russell Chaumont; grandchildren, Ian Courville and Aiden Courville; devoted friend of 51 years, AJ Primeaux; and his beloved dog, DogDog. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Louis Chaumont; mother, Martha Vidrine Broussard; and sister, Kathy Chaumont.
