John "Johnny" Chauffe, Jr.

Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge for John "Johnny" Allen Chauffe, Jr., 54, who passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, in Breaux Bridge.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Friday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. It will continue on Saturday from 8:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.

Pastor Sigmund Richard will officiate at the Funeral Service.

Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 - Mausoleum, in Breaux Bridge.

Johnny was one of the five founding members of the Bayou Reapers Motorcycle Club, where he served as the Secretary Treasurer. Besides his greatest passion of riding motorcycles, he also enjoyed fishing, cooking and spending time with his adored grandchildren and pet bird, Scully. Johnny had a great sense of humor and he was known for being a handy man that is always ready to help out.

Johnny was a faithful Christian, as well as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by the love of his life, Janie Lopez Chauffe; father and step-mother, John Chauffe, Sr. and Bobbye Simmons Chauffe; son, John "T-John" Allen Chauffe, III; daughter, Morgan Chauffe Whitaker (Devin); adopted grandson, Esteban Ace Alaniz; sisters, Lisa Chauffe Collett (David) and Amanda Walters Casteigne (Craig); grandchildren, Ayvah Chauffe and Gatlin Whitaker; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Frances Jeffers Langley and Michael Langley; and the mother of his child, Roxanne Shuff Chauffe.

Pallbearers will be John "T-John" Chauffe, Joshua Reeves, Joseph Soileau, Daniel Juno, Dwayne Foshee, and Kurt Kennedy.
