Arnaudville - John Herman Lastrapes, 72, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2013, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home. Mr. Lastrapes was a member of 'We the People' and several other organizations. He enjoyed collecting old cars as a hobby. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Meche Lastrapes of Arnaudville; a niece, Margaret Kidder Noblett of Louisville, KY; a nephew, Mac Moss of Lebanon, IL; his brother-in-law, ;Michael Meche and wife, Jane; and his sister in law, Leatrice Meche.He is preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Lorena Boudreaux Lastrapes; his brother, George McKinley Kidder; his sister and brother-in-law, Bergis K. and ;Crawford Moss; ;and a nephew, Roland Moss.
