John Wiley Racca

John was born November 10, 1959, in Honolulu, Oahu in the Hawaiian Islands. and was a longtime resident of New Iberia. He passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017, at Iberia Medical Center. It can easily be said that the most important part of his life was his family. He absolutely adored his nieces and nephews. He took care of them all and loved them more than anything. He leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved him. He will be sadly missed by surviving family members: four brothers, Kenneth K. Racca, Dennis W. Racca and wife Amy, Michael L. Racca and Norman F. Racca, Jr. and wife Judy; one sister, Belinda A. Racca Touchet; four nieces; Dondi R. Copeland and husband Micheal, Jami L. Racca, Tanisha L. Wiltz and husband Rod and Alina M. Touchet; five nephews; Scotty Meyers and wife Lacy, Norman F. Racca, III and wife Christin, Brandon Racca, Richard Racca, Jarrod Mosley and wife Miranda. Along with many great-nieces, great-nephews, one great great niece and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, sister, mother, father and step mother: Henry L. Racca, Gwendolyn S. Racca, Billie Geraldine Sandifer Racca, Norman F. Racca Sr, and Jennie Racca, and his Maternal and Paternal Grandparents. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Pellerin Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
