Arnaudville- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., on Friday, December 23, 2011, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Johnny W. Guidry, 66, who passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Opelousas General Hospital. Fr. Keenan Brown will officiate at the funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Peggy V. Robin, Linda Thibodeaux, and Cale Dor. Gift Bearers will be Marilyn and Cale Dor. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery. Survivors include his parents, Walter and Gladys Vitte Guidry; his sister, Marilyn Dor and her husband, Ronnie; and his nephew and godchild, Cale Dor and his wife, Diana, and their two daughters. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jules and Vaniola LaGrange Vitte; and paternal grandparents, Clesmae and Irene Noel Guidry. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Friday. A Rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. by Peggy Robin.
