Johnny Carroll Soignier

Lafayette - Johnny Carroll Soignier, 81, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016, at his residence. Johnny was a member of the Louisiana Army National Guard. He loved to spend his time camping. He is survived by his daughter, Janet Soignier of Cecilia; sons, Jimmy Soignier and wife Vickie of Cecilia, Russell Soignier of Rayne, Terry Soignier and wife Margie of Parks, L.J. Soignier of Carencro, and David Soignier of New Orleans; his step-son, Ricky Romero and wife Sandy; step-daughter, Cindy Reaux and husband Mike; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, Florent and Virginia Dolese Soignier; his brothers, Rudolph "Brud" Soignier and Felix Soignier; his sister, Margaret Calais; and former wives, Velma Decoux and Ruby Maitre.
