Johnny J. Suire

Lafayette A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, June 18, 2018, at Our Savior's Church Midtown, 101 Marie Antoinette, Lafayette, LA 70506, for Johnny J. Suire, 74, who passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018, at his residence. Pastor Eugene Reiszner will officiate at the memorial service. The family request visiting hours be observed at Our Savior's Church Midtown from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Monday. Mr. Suire was a kind and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed camping with his wife, going to the camp, doing carpentry work and working with wood, and most of all bass fishing. Johnny was a member of Our Savior's Church and a lifetime member of the Bass Association. He always had a smile on his face and knew how to brighten your day. Johnny cherished moments spent with the ones he loved, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving spouse, Jody Sinitiere Suire of Breaux Bridge; daughters, Cyndi Guidry and husband Mark of New Iberia, and Melanie Suire of Erath; step daughter, Shawn Viator and spouse Bobby of Breaux Bridge; step son, Mark Burgess of Chalmette; grandchildren, Brittney Stroder, Morghan Guidry, Jadyn Guidry, Lane Guidry, Kasie Vaughn, Christian LeBlanc, Julien LeBlanc, Eli Viator, and Kathleen Burgess. He was preceded in death by his father, Presley Suire; mother, Eleanor Gary Suire; mother and father-in-law, Una and A.J. Sinitiere.
