Joni Lea Doucet

Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 7, 2005, at St. Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Joni Lea Doucet, 22, who died Saturday, October 1, 2005 at her residence in Parks. Interment will be in St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary Post 289. Survivors include her father Mitchell Doucet, Sr, her mother, Lisa Miller, her companion, Kirk "Tony" Broussard, Jr, her maternal grandparents Delores Arnaud and Percy Angelle, Jr, her paternal grandmother, Laura Devillier, her brother Mitchell Doucet, Jr, and her sister Heather Doucet. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Clifton Miller, Jr and her paternal grandfathers Charles Doucet and Leroy Devillier. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 2:30 pm to 10:00 pm Thursday, October 6, 2005 and continue at 7:00 am Friday, October 7, 2005 until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Thursday. Pellerin Funeral Homes of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
