Joseph Forest Berard

Cecilia- Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 27, 2005, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Joseph Berard, 91, who died Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at St. Agnes Nursing Home in Breaux Bridge. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Survivors include his daughter, Judy Huval and her husband, Pope of Cecilia; four grandchildren, Tod Huval and his wife, Lorrie of Dallas, TX, Rowdy Huval and his wife, Adele, Shawn Huval and Shannon Huval, all of Cecilia; and five great grandchildren, Gentry, Payton, Forest, Blaze, and Hunner Huval. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ada H. Angelle; his parents, Vincent and Adelide Hebert Berard; his brothers, Vincent, Aldus, Ferjust and Laura Berard; four sisters, Leontine Trahan, Aminthe Trahan, Eunice Hebert and Nolie Huval; and his grandson, Jonathan Huval. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
