Joseph "Bill" William Rossyion

Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Friday, October 5, 2018, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cecilia for Joseph "Bill" William Rossyion, 66, who passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at his residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until service time. A rosary will be prayed at 8:00 am on Friday. Rev. Gregory Cormier will officiate at the Funeral Mass. The reader will be Hailee Noel. Gift Bearers will be Hailee Noel and Camile Rossyion. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cecilia. Bill enjoyed riding his scooter while visiting his brothers, house-to-house; taking a nap while sitting in the sun, but most of the time "doing his paperwork" was “top priority” to him. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was known to correct the children when they were doing wrong. A handshake, a hug, and a kiss were Bill's way of expressing his love and happiness with everyone. He is survived by his loving brothers, Clifton Rossyion and wife Mary Verlean of Arnaudville, Clinton Rossyion, Sr. and wife Louvesta of Arnaudville, Larry Rossyion of Portland, OR, and McKinley Rossyion, Sr. and wife Joyce of Arnaudville; sisters, Brenda Rossyion of Arnaudville and Janet Alfred of Crosby, TX., and a host nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Viola Richard Rossyion; brother, John Earl Rossyion; nieces, Kimberly Rossyion, Lacey Rossyion, Corrina Rossyion, Larae Auguillard, and Maisie Auguillard; and nephew, Kenneth Rossyion, Sr. Pallbearers will be Shane Auguillard, Kevin Rossyion, Raylond Auguillard, Jayland Demouchet, Eric Rossyion, and Kenny Rossyion. Honorary pallbearers will be Clinton Rossyion, Sr., Clifton Rossyion, McKinley Rossyion, Sr., Bobby Rossyion, Clinton Rossyion, Jr., Jason Rossyion, Clem Rossyion, and Rion Alfred.
