Joseph Brian Prescia

New Iberia - A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Joseph Brian Prescia, 60, who passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021.

Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.

Rev. Keith Landry will officiate.

Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home.

A 1979 graduate of Catholic High, Joseph was an auto body technician, having restored many cars throughout the years, including Corvette Show Cars. He loved reading the Bible and sharing it with others.

He is survived by his mother, Laura George Prescia of New Iberia; sister, Lisa DiMarco (Salvador "Buddy") of New Iberia; nephew, Brenden O'Brien and a niece, Casey O'Brien.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Prescia and a sister, Sherry O'Brien.

Pallbearers will be Salvador "Buddy" DiMarco, Dean Segura, and David Girouard.
