Breaux Bridge A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am, on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Joseph Wilson Demouchette, Sr., 74, who passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015, at his sisters residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 am until 10:00 am on Saturday at the Carver Street Chapel. A rosary will be prayed at 8:00 am on Saturday. Rev. Joseph Campion will officiate at the Funeral Mass. The reader will be Lionel Batiste. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Joseph enjoyed fishing and visiting with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Laura Belle Demouchette; a son, Joseph Wilson Demouchette, Jr.; three sisters, Mary Claire Jones, Geneva Harris, and Rita Farley; and six grandchildren, Joseph Wilson Demouchette, III, Kaitlun Demouchette, Christian Thomas, Brittany Babineaux, and Malik Guidry. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Adelmae Roberts Demouchet; and 19 brothers and sisters,.
