VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, August 11, 2008, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Joseph Ravis Devillier, 82, who passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at his residence in Breaux Bridge. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Rev. Louis Allen Breaux will conduct the services. Readers will be Laurette Mequet and Kristine Devillier. Gift Bearers will be Ali Devillier, Michelle Quebedeaux, and Heather Menard. Mr. Devillier loved to cook at the camp. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, playing "Bouray" and going to the Supper Club every Wednesday. More than anything he valued spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Maureen Gravouia Devillier of Breaux Bridge; his son, Johnny Devillier and his wife, Kristine of Breaux Bridge; his daughters, Tammy Devillier and her companion, David Menard of Breaux Bridge, Geraldine Quebedeaux and her husband, Charles of Breaux Bridge, and Susan Coycault and her husband, Damon of Breaux Bridge; his brother, Jasper Devillier of Breaux Bridge; and his sister Lou Ella Devillier of Breaux Bridge; his six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wade and Bertha Latiolais Devillier; and his son, Allen Devillier. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 10, 2008 and continue at 7:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Monday, August 11, 2008. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Pallbearers will be Johnny Devillier, Brandon Quebedeaux, Kenneth Coycault, David Menard, Kurt Guidry, and Horace Guidry. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Quebedeaux, Ricky Devillier, and Ken Devillier. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
