Joseph "Bobby" 'Bobby' Domonter

Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church for Joseph "Bobby" Domonter, 78, who passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at St. Joseph Hospice. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 12:30 pm on Saturday. A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 am on Saturday. Readers will be Kristy Domonter, Cameron Allemond, and Michon Wiltz. Gift bearers will be Javion Domonter and Kaion Domonter. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Joseph G. Domonter was born in Grand Coteau to the late Ovide and Eva Richard Domonter. He enjoyed fishing, watching western movies, playing cards, bbq-ing, and walking with his grandkids. Joseph will be remembered for his humor, his love for dancing, and the memories made spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his daughters, Laura Domonter, Belva Joseph and husband Jerry, and Angela Domonter; sons, Joseph "Dede" Domonter, Jr. and wife Turisky, Christopher Domonter and wife Miale, Bobby Domonter and wife Deborah, and Frederick Domonter and wife Norrisa; 29 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ovide and Eva Richard Domonter; wife, Gloria Domonter; son, Kenneth Domonter; three sisters, Betty Broussard, Theresa Taylor, and Lorraine Goodman; and one niece, Eleanor T. Noel. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Batiste, Reginald Domonter, Demarcus Domonter, Marquis Domonter, Shamar Domonter, and Lamar Lewis. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph "Dede" Domonter, Jr., Christopher Domonter, Bobby Domonter, Frederick Domonter, Patrick Domonter, Francis Jude Richard, Francis Lee Richard, Oville Damon, Joseph Ray Damon, Kenneth Domonter, Jerry Joseph, and Walter Demouchet.
