Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, December 29, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Joseph Lee Helarie, Jr., 28, who passed away on Monday, December 17, 2007. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Joseph was a car enthusiast; he enjoyed traveling and loved the finer things in life. Survivors include his mother and step father, Dianne Landry Glaude and David Glaude, of Harvey; his father and his companion, Joseph Helaire, Sr. and Hazel Zeno, of Breaux Bridge; his step mother, Melissa Sneed; his fianc?e, Sherry Nicholas, of Lafayette; his son, Darriun Lee Helaire, of Lafayette; his step son, Martraviene Nicholas, of Lafayette; two brothers, Tidus Nadie, of Breaux Bridge, and Eric Glaude, of Harvey; his sisters, Shantelle Porter, of New Orleans, Renola Nadie, Sarah Helaire, Mariah Helaire, and Riesha Helaire; his maternal grandmother, Mazy Landry, of Breaux Bridge; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Enola and Gilbert Joseph Helaire; his maternal grandfather, Claude Landry, Sr.; and his daughter, Angel Helaire. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Pallbearers will be Eric Glaude, Sokiro Landry, Jacory Simon, Harold Guidry, Charlie Landry, and Tidus Nadie. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
