Cecilia - A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cecilia for Joseph Dean Jeansonne, Jr., 41, who passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019, at Abbeville General Hospital. Rev. Gregory Cormier will officiate at the Memorial Service. Joseph enjoyed fishing, watching Saints football, and cooking. He was fun, loving, and always made others around him laugh. Joseph loved his family and enjoyed getting together, especially with his daughter, Kourtney. He will be dearly missed by all. He is survived by his daughter, Kourtney Jeansonne; father, Joseph Jeansonne, Sr. and spouse, Marshann; sister, Sabrina Comeaux and spouse, Christopher; brothers, Karl Fox and spouse, Chip and Kurt Fox and spouse, Holli; step brothers, Michael Jenkins and spouse Stacy and Aron Jenkins; step sister, Tracie Bormann and spouse Matt; numerous nieces and nephews; 3 great nieces and nephews; and the mother of his child, Melizia Jeansonne. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Morris; maternal and paternal grandparents; and two uncles.
