Joseph Ledet

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 24, 2007, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Joseph Martin Ledet, 62, who died Monday, February 19, 2007 at Meadowbrook Specialty Hospital in Lafayette. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Loreauville. Joseph loved being with his family and friends, but most of all he loved being with his loving wife of 33 years, Anita. ?He will be sadly missed by his wife, mother, brothers, sisters, and friends. Survivors include his wife, Anita A. Ledet of St. Martinville; his mother, Rose C. Ledet of Houston, TX; his loving daughter, Alicia Alexander Ambrose of St. Martinville; two brothers, Adam Ledet and his wife, Margie of St. Martinville and Phillip Ledet and his wife, Lena of Houston, TX; and two sisters, Anita Brown and her husband, Whitney of Carencro and Marie Ledet of Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by his father, George Ledet and one brother, Walter Ledet. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Friday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
