Joseph Felton Noel

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 17, 2008, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Joseph Felton Noel, 62, who passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at his residence. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cecilia. Mr. Noel loved race horses. He enjoyed doing mechanic work and hanging out with his friends. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Rev. Fr. Aaron Melancon will officiate at the funeral service. Survivors include his mother Georgia Batiste, of Arnaudville; six brothers, Linton Noel, Earl Noel, Leroy Noel, David Noel, Napoleon Noel, Jr., and Ernest Noel, all of Cecilia; six sisters, Barbara Batiste, Brenda Journet, Linda Noel, all of Cecilia, Junita Phillips, of Parks, Patricia Noel, of Dallas, TX, and Martha Calais, of Breaux Bridge; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Napoleon Noel, Sr.; and one brother, Edward Paul Noel, Sr. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. on Saturday. Pallbearers will be Brian Batiste, Leland Phillips, William Noel, Kelly Noel, Linton Noel, and Kendal Journet. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
