Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 22, 2006, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Joseph Lloyd Robicheaux, 62, who died Sunday, April 16, 2006 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Fr. James Fallon will conduct the services.
Mr. Robicheaux was employed by Hanson Building in St. Martinville. ?He enjoyed his work and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Lisa Batiste Robicheaux of Arnaudville; his step son, Everette Batiste and his wife Mercedes of Parks; his sisters, Mary Viola Calais and Barbara Potier and her husband, Harold, all of Arnaudville; his grandchildren, Everette Batiste, Jr., Cody Batiste and Shanara Batiste, all of Parks; his uncles, Stanley and Clayjus Chevalier, both of Arnaudville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Macklin and Gertrude Chevalier Robicheaux; is brothers, Rogers, Harold and Larry Robicheaux; his mother-in-law, Anna Rose Washington; and his sister-in-law, Beatrice Robicheaux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 a.m. on Saturday and continue until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Jason Artis, Michael Pratt, Patrick Williams, Marshall Solomon, Eric Washington, and Alton Batiste, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Darren Benoit, Alton Benoit, Nathan Batiste, Everette Batiste, Stanley and Clayjus Chevalier, Harold Potier, and John Washington.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
