Cecilia - A Funeral Mass will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Cecilia for Joseph Clifton Rossyion, 76, who passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019, at his home surrounded by family.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Tuesday.
Rev. Gregory Cormier will officiate at the Funeral Mass.
Joseph Clifton "Kee-Kee" was born in Arnaudville, LA to the late John and Maisie Richard Rossyion. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Clifton enjoyed shooting pool, going fishing, cracking jokes, working on and doing projects with his tractor. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Clifton will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving spouse of 54 years, Mary Verlean Patt Rossyion; sons, Jason Ellis Rossyion and wife Latoya Marie, and Jonas Helaire Rossyion, Sr. and companion Stacey Kupke; daughters, Jennifer Marie Rossyion Harvey and husband Donald, and Mary Jenise Rossyion Randall and husband Guy Daniel, Sr.; brothers, Joseph McKinley Rossyion and wife Joyce, Joseph Clinton Rossyion, Sr. and wife Mary Louvesta, and Joseph Larry Rossyion; sisters, Janet Alfred and Brenda Joyce Rossyion; grandchildren, James Keilan Rossyion, Chelsee Conner, Joshua Kuric Rossyion, Chayme Cooper, Jenna Marie Rossyion, Jaden Cooper, Dyrell Harvey, Sr., Breanna Harvey, D'Wan Harvey, Lason Ellis Edmond, Alasia Elise Edmond, Lasie Rae Rossyion, Masie Rae Rossyion, Jayla Renee Rossyion, Ryheem Devon Rossyion, Shannon Ra'Oul Gyvon Randall, Gy G'Andre Malik Randall, Kiara Theresa Broussard, Bianca Wiltz, Guy Daniel Randall, Jr., Jonas Helaire Rossyion, Jr., Brooklan Rossyion, Kylon Rossyion, Gracie Rossyion, Christian Rossyion, Kormah Rossyion, and Jett Neeko (Suire) Rossyion; great grandchildren, Dyrell Harvey, Jr., Haidyn Perry, Jaxon Ali Rossyion, Malachi Harvey, Zaniya Harvey, Brylee Narcisse, Braylon Narcisse, and McKenzie Narcisse.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Helaire Rossyion; mother, Maisie Viola Richard Rossyion; grandparents, Pierre and Adelle Semien Rossyion; siblings, John Earl Rossyion, Jeanette Rossyion, Joseph William "Bill" Rossyion, and Gerald Rossyion; sister-in-law, Geraldine Zeno; brother-in-law, Carl Fredrick Alfred, Sr.; and nieces and nephews, Kenneth, Natasha, Kimberly, Corrina, Lacey, Larae, and Maisie Rossyion.
