Joseph Sylvester

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 30, 2006, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Joseph "Joe Blaze" Sylvester, 64, who died Monday, December 25, 2006 at University Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Survivors include his sons, Leonard and Wilfred Sylvester, both of Breaux Bridge; his daughters, Dorothy Sylvester of Breaux Bridge and Shirley Sylvester of MS; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Sylvester; his brothers, Raymond and Leroy Sylvester; and his sister, Willie Mae Lewis. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 a.m. on Saturday and continue until time of service. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
