Joseph "Vin" Wilven Theriot

Cecilia - A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, May 13, 2019, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia for Joseph "Vin" Theriot, 83, who passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm on Monday. Deacon Ken Soignier will officiate at the Funeral Service. Scripture will be read by his family. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. "Vin" was an avid horseman who enjoyed racing and training horses. He was a dog lover, enjoyed watching television, and cherished moments spent with family and friends, especially his great grandchild Reed. He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Gravouilla and spouse Dale; son, Clint Theriot; grandchild, Courtney Gravouilla and spouse Brandy; and great grandchild, Reed Gravouilla. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jeanette Kidder Theriot; parents, Arile and Armance Theriot; sisters, Donna Knott and Joyce Landry; and brother, Francis Theriot.
