Josephine Bair Roberts

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 17, 2008, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Josephine "Jo" Bair Roberts, 85, who passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home in Arnaudville. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Fr. Chanh will conduct the services. Ms. Jo loved to cook and was known for her delicious cakes. There was nothing she enjoyed more than spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her daughter, Linda R. LeBlanc and her husband, Tommy, of Cecilia; her brother, Charles Bair, III and his wife, Melba, of Texas; her grandchildren, Brenda Guidry and her husband, Billy, Sean LeBlanc, Lynn LeBlanc and his wife, Tracey; her great grandchildren, Brittney Guidry and her fianc, Craig, Blaise Guidry, Ben Guidry, Jonais LeBlanc, Clint LeBlanc and Brooklyn LeBlanc; and one great-great grandchild, Cohen Theriot. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Herman "Nabe" Roberts; her parents, Charles and Jeanette Bair; and her son, Richard "Ricky" Roberts. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:30 p.m. till 10:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 16, 2008 and continue at 8:00 a.m. till 12:30 p.m. Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Billy Guidry, Sean LeBlanc, Lynn LeBlanc, Blaise Guidry, Craig Theriot and John Keith Theriot. Honorary pallbearer will be Ben Guidry. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
