Lafayette - A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Family Life Church 2223 Dulles Dr. Lafayette, LA 70506 for Josie Stokes Weatherly, 43, who passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018. The family request visitation from 10:00 am on Saturday until time of funeral service at Family Life Church. Josie loved spending time with her children and her grandchild - they meant the world to her. She enjoyed going to church, listening to music, and vacationing at the beach. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her sons, Blaze Weatherly and wife Rebecca, and Bailey Weatherly; daughter, Katherine Weatherly; grandchild, Aiden Weatherly; parents, Rex Stokes, Jr. and Katherine Dore Stokes; brothers, Joe Stokes and wife Tashiara, Louis Stokes, and Rex Stokes, III and wife Sarah; grandmother, Sadie Stokes; and her in-laws, Lonnie and Norma Cleveland. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Todd Weatherly; and her grandparents, Verla and Louis Marusak, Rex Stokes, Sr., Richard Stokes, and Gaudy and Eljean Dore.
