Josyanna 'JoAnn' "JoAnn" Theriot Jeansonne

Breaux Bridge - A Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Monday, November 7, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Josyanna "JoAnn" Theriot Jeansonne, 87, who passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday, and continue on Monday at 8:00 am until 12:45 pm, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Sunday. Fr. Stephen Ugwu will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. JoAnn enjoyed playing Bingo, Pokeno, and going to the casino. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Parks. JoAnn loved being with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her sons, Joseph Dean Jeansonne, Sr. and John Dale Jeansonne; daughters, Sue Alice Guidry and Louella Ann Simon and husband, Rodney Simon Sr.; sister-in-law, Gladys Theriot; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kite Darius Jeansonne; parents, Leonce and Emerante Latiolais Theriot; brothers, Ledel Theriot (Elmine), Helaire Theriot (Odile), Clovis Theriot (Ada), Martin Theriot (Orlene), Alexander Theriot (Alice), and Adley Theriot; sisters, Yolande Theriot Castille (Olden), Onge Marie Theriot Broussard (Pearly) and Alice Theriot Melancon (Cleffy); daughter-in-law, Florence Jeansonne; son-in-law, Leland Guidry, Sr.; and her dog, Pattie. Pallbearers will be Rodney Simon Jr., Joseph Jeansonne Jr., John Keith Jeansonne, Jerry Guidry, Leland Guidry Jr., and Justin Penn.
