Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Joyce Guidry Angelle, 90, who passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:30 am until 1:45 pm on Tuesday. A rosary will be prayed at 1:00 pm on Tuesday. Fr. Joseph Campion will officiate at the Funeral Mass. The readers will be Katie Angelle and Naomi Angelle. The gift bearer will be Lisa Chautin. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Joyce enjoyed entertaining her family and friends. She loved baking her favorite brownies and would bring them to special gatherings for everyone to enjoy. Joyce was known for the many beautiful flowers that were grown in her yard. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her sons, Jules Angelle and wife Mona, and Glenn Dale Angelle, all of Cecilia; her grandchildren, Coby Angelle, Jamie Angelle and spouse Katie, Kyle Angelle and spouse Naomi, Brandon Angelle and spouse Cobie, and Lainey Lane; and her great grandchildren, Reese Angelle, Jules Elizabeth Angelle, Hudson Angelle, Gage Patin, Juel Patin, Tristen Angelle, and Khyler Lane. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lennie Angelle Jr.; parents, Antoine and Leonie Calais Guidry; and brothers, Gerald "Beb" Guidry, Mac Guidry, Curtis Guidry, and Marshall Guidry. Pallbearers will be Coby, Jamie and Kyle Angelle, Dane Guidry, Jantz Chautin, and David Guidry. Honorary pallbearer will be Brandon Angelle.
