Juanita Ann Robin Guidry, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away in Lafayette. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1958, Juanita lived a life full of love, dedication, and kindness.
Graduating from Cecilia High School in 1976, she left a mark not only as a student, but also as a member of the Cecilia High School Marching Band, where she dazzled everyone as a majorette and color guard member. Her passion for education and continuous learning shone through her involvement in various organizations such as the 4-H club, FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), and serving as a spokesperson for the family support group - A Co 156 Inf (M) "Desert Storm".
Those who had the privilege of knowing Juanita will always remember her infectious personality. Funny, compassionate, and always ready to lend a listening ear or a helping hand, Juanita touched the lives of many with her immense warmth. Her interests were as diverse as her character - from tending to her garden to entertaining loved ones, from cooking delicious meals to crocheting intricate designs. She found joy in simple pleasures like raising chickens and exploring the wonders of crystal mining in Arkansas.
Juanita's greatest legacy lies not only in the memories she created, but also in the love and care she shared with those around her. Her family meant everything to her, and she dedicated herself to their happiness and well-being. Her presence brought light into every room, spreading joy wherever she went.
