New Iberia A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Thursday, June 11, 2015, at St. Marcellus Catholic Church in Rynella, for Jude Michael Boudreaux, 38, who passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at his residence.
The family requests visiting hours be observed at St. Marcellus Catholic Church from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday. A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 am on Thursday.
Rev. Nathan Comeaux will officiate at the Funeral Mass.
Jude was an amazing man who was born on August 30, 1976 in New Iberia, and was a 1994 graduate of New Iberia Senior High, where he was an active member of the 4-H Club, and the St. Marcellus Church Youth Group. Afterwards, he continued his education at Louisiana State University, LSU, studying in business. He completed his Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
During Judes free time you could find him cheering on the Tigers at Tiger Stadium and at Alex Box Stadium. He enjoyed golf, fishing, and hunting. Jude loved all aspects of life.
He is survived by his daughter Madicyn Boudreaux; parents, Kenneth Boudreaux and AnnaBelle Boudreaux of New Iberia; sister, Christina Byrom and husband John of New Iberia; two brothers, Charles "Mitch" Boudreaux and wife Kelly of Baton Rouge and Joshua Boudreaux of Maryland; nephews, John Paul Byrom of New Iberia and Jackson Byrom of New Iberia; God Son, Jonah Byrom of New Iberia; God Daughter, Kate Boudreaux of Baton Rouge; niece, Hannah Boudreaux of Baton Rouge; God Father, Raymond Boudreaux and wife Barbara of New Iberia; God Mother, Genie Comeaux and husband Patrick of Broussard; five aunts, Jeanie Bourg and husband Chris of Breaux Bridge, Becky Boudreaux of New Iberia, Mary Lee LeBlanc and husband Phil of New Iberia, Peggy Taylor and husband Dan of Tennessee, Phyllis Hulin and husband Harold of New Iberia; four uncles, Arthur "Sonny" Esteve and wife Charlotte of New Iberia, Louis Esteve of Breaux Bridge, Ronald Boudreaux and wife Fran of Arkansas, Roland Boudreaux and wife Faye of New Iberia and numerous cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur Charles Esteve, Sr. and wife AnnaBelle L. Esteve and Mitchell Boudreaux and wife Elia; one uncle Rellius Boudreaux.
