Jude Guidry

Cecilia- Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 , at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Jude Guidry, 53, who passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Fr. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Opal LeBlanc and Blaise Guidry. Gift bearers will be Lexi, Debbie, and Jessica Guidry. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Jude worked for 'SPL' for 25 years. He had a passion for repairing small engines. He was a loving son, brother, husband and father. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Melissa Guidry; his son, Jordy Jude Guidry and his girlfriend, Kasey; his daughter, Lexi Leonie; his brothers, Michael Guidry, Shane Guidry and his wife, Adria, and Mickey Guidry and his wife, Lynn; his sisters, Paula Roberts and her husband, Mark, and Karleen Berard and her husband, Albert; numerous nieces and nephews; his father-in-law, Curtis Guidry; his brothers in law, Dale, Clint and Chris Guidry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ann Opal Calais Guidry and Amilcar Guidry, Jr.; his mother in law, Eula Guidry. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday and continue at 8:00 a.m. until time of service Wednesday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Jordy Jude Guidry, Michael Guidry, Shane Guidry, Mickey Guidry, Clint Guidry, Dale Guidry, Chris Guidry, and Lance Landry. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Calais, Paul Calais, Timothy Calais, Dwight Angelle, Dean Angelle, Nelson Trahan, Mike Trahan, Clint Angelle, Wendel Zerangue, Jerry Guidry, Jr., Mark Roberts, and Albert Berard.
