Jude Thaddeus Pickney

Breaux Bridge - Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday October 22, 2022, at Bethlehem Baptist Church for Jude Thaddeus Pickney, 46, who passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022, at Sage Specialty Hospital.

A visitation will take place at the Bethlehem Baptist Church on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Pastor Matthew Kelso will officiate at the funeral service.

Jude enjoyed working on his car, taking family vacations, playing board games, and he loved spending time with his family, friends, and his dog.  Although Jude expressed a serious a personality, he also had a tender heart.  He will be remembered for his kindness, the protection he provided to his family and his spoiled daughter, and being a prankster.  Jude will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He is survived by wife, Brandy Jones Pickney; daughter, Azania L. Pickney; brother, Timothy "Timmy" Pickney; aunt, Gloria Hypolite; uncle, Alvin Smith; and his godchildren, Tyrus Paul Hypolite and Kali Dickerson.

He is preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Velma Peter Pickney; brother, Joseph William "Doggie" Pickney; maternal grandparents, Ida E. and Rudolph Peter; and his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Anna Savoy Pickney.

Pallbearers will be Macarry Benjamin, Nicholas Jones, Scotty Borel, Dwight Borel, Sigmind Poirier, and Marlon Broussard.

Honorary pallbearers will be Timothy Pickney, Lane and Nicky Jones, and Michael Borel.
