Judie's journey in life was filled with love, joy, and dedication to her family, friends, and students. Judie graduated from USL with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She went on to teach for many years, touching the lives of countless students. Her compassionate nature had an ability to bring students together. Judie had a special way of teaching that made her students feel cherished and valued.

Judie and Ronny were married on May 28, 1983 and so began the adventure of a lifetime. Judie was a devoted wife to her husband and mom to her three children. As a mom, she shared in everything as her children were growing up. That love and dedication only grew over time and as her children became adults and parents.

Judie loved creating different types of art, refinishing furniture, painting pieces, and much much more, all colorful and vibrant just like her. Judie and Ronny loved camping together, especially with their grandchildren. No title was taken more seriously or gave her more joy than that of "Meme" to her six grandchildren. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she took advantage of every opportunity spent with them. She will forever hold in her heart "the best summer ever" as Meme Camp meant spending precious time with her grandchildren weekly and doing all of the things they loved. Her grandchildren will forever remember "the best summer ever" and will cherish the most precious memories ever made.

Judie Goodrich will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. Her legacy will forever be in our hearts as a shining example of love, compassion, and true devotion. In times of darkness, we will draw inspiration from her boundless love, kindness, and selflessness. Rest in peace and eternal love, to our mother, meme, sister, and friend.

Judie is survived by a family that will fondly miss her. She was a wife to her husband of 41 years, Ronny Goodrich, whose devotion and love was a constant throughout their marriage. She was a loving mother to two daughters, Hollie (Stuart) Carlson and Halie (Brian) Rivet and one son, Dustin Goodrich. She was blessed to be Meme of six beautiful grandchildren who were the loves of her life, Taylor Goodrich, Evan Carlson, Aubrie Carlson, Emmie Carlson, Jackson Rivet, and Jase Rivet. She was sister to Mary Jude (Russell) Sonnier and Paul "Bully" Resweber, Stephen "Scooter" Resweber, and Don "Tuffy" (Becky) Resweber.

She was preceded in death by parents, Harold and Maurine Resweber and brother, Harold "Butch" Resweber.
