Judy Ann Courville

Catahoula - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at St. Rita Catholic Church in for Judy Ann Courville, 70, who passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020, at New Iberia Manor North. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Dion Hall from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm on Tuesday, and continue on Wednesday at 8:00 am until 9:45 am. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Tuesday. Rev. Bill Melancon will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be at a later date. Judy was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She loved visiting with people, attending church and helping the elderly. She worked as an attendant with Pellerin Funeral Home for many years. Judy will always be remembered for her big heart and being compassionate to those around her. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her ex-husband, James Courville, Sr.; two sons, James "T-Jim" (Fran Broussard) Courville Jr. and Chad (Deanna) Courville; sister, Bonnie (Bernard) Hebert; ten grandchildren, Corey Durham, Scotty Durham, Jennifer Broussard, Frem "T-Frem" (Tonia) Courville, David J. Courville, Nikita M. Courville, Taya Courville, John Broussard, Cody M. Courville and Kourtney Courville; four great grandchildren, David Anthony Courville, Jamari "JJ" Courville, Moana Courville and Addison Broussard. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Vernice Borel Louviere; and one sister, Adele Sonnier. Pallbearers will be James "T-Jim" Courville Jr., Chad Courville, Frem "T-Frem" Courville, David J. Courville, Cody M. Courville and Brannon Courville. Honorary pallbearers will be Corey Durham, John Broussard, Brett Courville, Scott Sonnier Sr. and Buddy Courville. Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
