St.Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m., on Monday, December 19, 2011, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Judy Hebert Trahan, 58, who passed away on Friday, December 16, 2011, at Iberia Medical Center. Msgr. J. Douglas Courville will officiate at the funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Wesley Hayes and Miki Trahan. Gift Bearers will be Misty Trahan, Adam Trahan, Kelly Trahan, and Drew Hebert. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. In her free time, Judy loved to go and play Bingo with family and friends, and also enjoyed playing Pogo on the computer, as well as keeping up with her family and friends on Facebook. Survivors include three sons, Kelly and his wife, Miki L. Trahan, Adam and his wife, Lanna H. Trahan, and Drew Hebert; one daughter, Misty Trahan; one brother, Oran J. Hebert and his wife, Helen; one sister, Martha Hebert Belaire and her husband, Clarence; and ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvian and Eula Thibodeaux Hebert; two brothers, Ernest and Phillip Hebert; and her grandparents, Kaleb and Alice Thibodeaux, and Theresa Bernard; and her sister, Helen Hebert Sanderson. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Sunday, and continue on Monday at 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Sunday. Pallbearers will be Adam Trahan, Kelly Trahan, Drew Hebert, Van Belaire, Wayne Belaire, Art Belaire, and Kale Trahan.
