Judy Lallande Willis

St. Martinville - Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm, on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in St. Martinville, for Judy Lallande Willis, 71, who passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Iberia Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:30 am until 11:30 am on Tuesday. Fr. Rusty Richard will officiate at the Funeral Service. Entombment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Judy loved cooking, visiting with her family and friends, and occasionally playing a good game of Bourr. She will be remembered by everyone for her good heart and strong opinion. She is survived by her sons, Nicholas Willis, Warren Gene Champagne and wife, Connie, all of St. Martinville, James Willis and wife, Jill, of Chehalis, WA, and L. Charles Willis, III and his wife, Marcella, of Centralia, WA; two daughters, Kristen Willis and Belinda Champagne, both of St. Martinville; her sister, Claudette Bennett of New Iberia; eleven grandchildren, Ashley Champagne, Derek Champagne, Joshua Sopko, Blake Bonin, Gage Landry, Brittany Guillotte, Zy Willis, Chaz Willis, Cherish Willis, Louis Charles Willis, IV, and Arica Kurtzbein; and a great granddaughter, Danielle Morgan. She is preceded in death by her husband, L. Charles Willis, Jr.; her parents, Claude and Laura Freeman Lallande; two brothers, Dennis and Marian Lallande; and a sister, Betsy Lallande. Pallbearers will be Warren Gene Champagne, James Willis, Nicholas Willis, Derek Champagne, Blake Bonin, Chaz Willis, Gage Landry, and Joshua Sopko. Honorary pallbearer will be Zy Willis.
