Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:15 a.m., on Friday, March 7, 2008, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 116 W. Bluebird Drive, Lafayette, LA, for Juel Glynn Guilott, Sr., 87, who passed away on Monday, March 3, 2008 at his residence in Breaux Bridge.
Entombment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Cemetery, in Metairie, LA.
Bishop Miller will conduct the funeral service.
Mr. Guilott was born on January 23, 1921, in New Orleans, LA. ?He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having survived World War II, while serving in the Atlantic and Pacific Theaters of the war, he also served in the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Billie Dale Guilott, of Breaux Bridge; two daughters, Dale G. Pickard, of Florida, Scot G. Aiena, of North Carolina; four sons, Juel ""Butch"" Guilott, of South Carolina, Ernest W. ""Bill"" Guilott, of Breaux Bridge, Adam J. Guilott, of New Orleans, and David H. Guilott, of Utah;; one brother, Clyde Ernest Guilott, of Lake Charles; 19 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest N. and Evelyn Thibodeaux Guilott.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the church from 9:00 a.m. until time 10:15 a.m. on Friday
