Parks - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 17, 2016, at St. Louis Chapel in Parks for Julia Ann Wiltz, 65, who passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at St. Louis Chapel from 10:00 am until time of funeral service. Rev. Donovan Labb will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Julia was born in Lafayette to the late Gilbert and Melva Morris Clay, Sr. She was very outgoing and enjoyed talking on the phone, spending time with family and friends, playing cards, and running the roads with her niece, Deborah Richard. Julia was a member of the Parks Rosary Group and a huge Saints Football fan. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving spouse of 43 years, Billy Ray Wiltz, Sr.; daughter, Lashanda Renee Wiltz; sons, Billy Ray Wiltz, Jr. and Brian Anthony Wiltz, Sr. and wife Margarita; brother, Issac Clay and wife Eunice; sisters, Rita Nelson, Katherine Pomier and husband Nelson, and Merrill Steven and husband Jeorome, Sr.; grandchildren, Taylyn Wiltz, Brian Anthony Wiltz, Jr., Markaylan Wiltz, Jaylan Wiltz, and Dylan Derouselle; and great grandchild, Kayonie Trenae Francis. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gilbert Clay, Jr.; and sister, Barbara Skipper. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Nelson Sr., Kenneth Nelson Jr., Jude Richard, Jamiah Nelson, Brandon Richard, and Aaron Johnson. Pellerin Funeral Home, (337-332-2111), is in charge of arrangements.
