Julie was born on October 29, 1965, in Lafayette. Family gatherings were her cherished moments, where laughter echoed and love permeated the air. Whether it was cookouts that brought the delicious scents of grilled food wafting through the yard or the spirited energy of her grandchildren chasing butterflies, Julie cultivated memories that will last a lifetime.
A passionate photographer, she had an innate ability to capture the essence of those precious family get-togethers. With each click of her camera, she immortalized smiles, hugs, and candid moments that radiated pure happiness. Those photographs serve as a beautiful testament to her love for her family, preserving the spirit of her cherished connections.
Julie found peace and joy in the simplicity of life; fishing was one of her favorite pastimes she enjoyed doing with her husband. Sitting quietly by the water, her heart intertwined with nature, she found solace and serenity. Each catch was a small victory celebrated with a delighted smile, further illustrating her zest for life.
Perhaps what Julie loved the most was the time spent with her grandchildren. Her face would light up with a unique kind of joy at their every visit, affirming the unbreakable bond they shared. In her presence, they learned the values of love, kindness, and family, treasures that they will carry with them forever.
She is survived by her husband, Patrick Louviere; son, Patrick D. Louviere; daughter, Cherie Bowling (Steven); mother, Phyllis Leger; brother, Thomas Latiolais; and her grandchildren, Devyn and Micah Bowling.
She is preceded in death by her father, Patrick Latiolais; grandparents, Joe and Lizzie Napoli and Pierre and Olga Latiolais.
Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
