St. Martinville - A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, May 31, 2013 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Julien Ramsey Guilbeau, Jr., 71, who died on Monday, May 27, 2013. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville on Friday, beginning at 10 am and continuing until 11:30 am. Fr. Richard Fabre will officiate at the Memorial Service. Julien honorably served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, but most especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his son, Jeremy (Holli Babin) Guilbeau of St. Martinville; two daughters, Jennifa Guilbeau (Josh) Kidd of PA, and Josephine Guilbeau of Alexandria; his brother, Shelby Guilbeau of Butte LaRose; and four grandchildren, Aynsli Claire Guilbeau, Jaydan Sutton Kidd, Emily Clare Mersberger, and Samantha Wyatt. He is preceded in death by his father Julien R. Guilbeau Sr.; his mother, Josephine Guidry Guilbeau; his son, Teddy Russo; his daughter, Wendy Russo; and a grandson, Jonathon Wyatt.
