New Iberia - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 pm, on Monday, August 31, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home of New Iberia in New Iberia, for Juliet Marie Picard Viator , 74, who passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015, at Iberia Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday, and continue on Monday at 8:00 am until 2:30 pm. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Sunday. Fr. Ed Degeyter will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in New Iberia. Mrs. Juliet enjoying camping, listening to zydeco music, dancing, and attending family events. She cherished moments spent with family and friends. Mrs. Juliet was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She is survived by her loving spouse, Harold Viator; daughters, Tammy Romero and husband Larry of New Iberia and Shelia Viator and husband Troy Bonin of New Iberia; brother, Willie Picard and wife Patricia "Pat" of New Iberia; granddaughter, Heather Dartez of New Iberia; grandson, Joshua Speer and Fiancee' Rebekah Hallmark of New Iberia; great-grandchildren, Carlie Dartez, Kaiden Dartez, Hope Dartez, Joshua Speer, Jr., Daniel Hallmark, Sylar Speer; and her dog Buddy Viator. She was preceded in death by her parents, Augustine and Sidney Picard; brother, Willday Picard; sisters, Agnes Picard Bertrand and Earline Picard.
