Juliette Lasseigne Granger

Catahoula - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at St. Rita Catholic Church in Catahoula, for Juliette Lasseigne Granger, 73, who passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at her residence. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula. Fr. Richard Fabre, pastor of St. Rita Church will conduct the services. Scriptures will be read by Lauren and Mandy Granger. Gifts will be presented by Tobi Lynn Granger and Megan Granger. Music will be provided by her grandson, Brandon Granger. Mrs. Granger was a devout Catholic and prayed daily. She also had a love of reading and enjoyed watching EWTN on television. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who would spread love wherever she went. Survivors include her sons, Todd Granger and his wife, Paula, Percy Granger and his wife, Elizabeth Renee, and Toby Granger and his wife Kimberly, all of Breaux Bridge; her daughters, Carolyn Boudreaux and her husband, Weston of Catahoula, Connie Theriot and her husband Ames, and Tammy Barras and her husband, Ricky, all of St. Martinville; her brothers, Dalfred, Clenis and Rouley Lasseigne; her sisters, Theresa Serrette and Rena Dugas; thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claybert and Anastasia Girouard Lasseigne; her husband, Carol Paul Granger, her sisters, Nelda Thibodeaux, Clelie (Kin) Courville, Viola Robicheaux and Ora Marie Girouard and her brother, Patrick Lasseigne; two grandchildren, Cass Granger and Brennan Theriot. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Dion Hall in Catahoula from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Monday and continue at 7:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Pallbearers will be Jason and Josh Boudreaux, Chase and Lance Barras, Trevor and Zachary Granger. Honorary pallbearers will be her sons, Todd, Percy and Toby Granger and her sons in law, Weston Boudreaux, Ames Theriot and Ricky Barras. Pellerin Funeral Home (337)332-2111 is in charge of arrangements.
