New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, December 2, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Julius Bourque, 73, who passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016, at in New Iberia.
Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.
A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 8:30 AM until 3:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia.
A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mr. Bourque was born on March 11, 1943 to Ignace and Verdice Viator Bourque. He was the owner of Bourque's Landscaping and Salvage Yard, and his hobbies included playing music and hunting.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Maturin Bourque of New Iberia; sons, Troy Bourque and wife Mandy of Delcambre,, Cory Bourque and fiance' Pam of New Iberia, Elvis James Derise of New Iberia; daughter, Rachel Roy and husband Randy of Abbeville; brother, Nolan Bourque and wife Sherry of New Iberia; sister, Merlene Buteaux of New Iberia; grandchildren, Lyndsi Guidry, Kayle Roy, Zac Roy, Khoty Roy, Tuker Bourque, and Emily Bourque.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, C.D. Bourque, and E.J. Bourque.
Pallbearers will be Tuker Bourque, Zac Roy, Olan Bourque, Ricky Bourque, Paulman Bourque, Beau Buteaux, and Eddie Romero.
