Junius Clement

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, April 18 , 2009, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Junius "Pyro" Clement, 62, who passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2009 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cecilia. Father Peter will conduct the funeral service. Readers will be Langhston Williams and Bailey Thomas. Mr. Clement enjoyed listening to music, watching football, fishing, playing the lottery, going to the casinos and playing the poker machines. He loved spending time with his family and having backyard cookouts and would always say that "Every day is a holiday," but he most especially loved spending time with his wife of 36 years, Vera. Survivors include his wife, Vera Robertson, of Cecilia; four sons, Glenn Robertson, of Dallas, TX, Harold Robertson (Stephanie), of Lafayette, Anthony Clement (Fatima), of Laveen, AZ, and Jeremy Abraham, of Breaux Bridge; one daughter, Christine Robertson, of Cecilia; four brothers, Lawrence Clement (Bertha), of Breaux Bridge, Carol Clement, George Clement, Jr. (Donna), all of Houston, TX, and Donald Clement (Cordelia), of Breaux Bridge; four sisters, Lucy Alexander, Joyce Davis (Harry), all of Houston, TX, Laura Williams (Wayne), of San Antonio, TX, and Shirley Morale, of Breaux Bridge; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Hilda Alexander Clement; and a brother, Joseph Clement. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Pallbearers will be Langhston Williams, Javien Clement, Ronald Morale, Calvin Joseph, Raphael Goodie, and Markus Robertson, Sr. Honorary pallbearers will be Glenn Robertson, Harold Robertson, Jr., Hilton Zeno, Jr., Reggie Smith, George A. Clement, and Harry Davis, Jr. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
