Breaux Bridge ~ Karen Lee Bridger Patin, 40, passed away early Monday morning, August 6, 2007. ?Beloved mother of, Sedric Patin; ?beloved daughter of, Judith Bridger; and beloved sister of, William ""Billy"" Bridger. Preceded in passing by her father, William Bridger; her maternal grandparents, Donald and Irene McWhirter; and her paternal grandparents, Wylie ""Doc"" and Gladys Bridger. Karen majored in Music Education and also majored in Elementary Education. ?She taught music at Our Lady of Fatima in Lafayette. ?She sang for many years with the ""Mystical Rose Choir"" at St. Bernard Catholic Church, in Breaux Bridge. ?She also sang at numerous weddings and funerals. ?Music was her love -- now she is singing with the Angels in Heaven. ?She was loved by so many and touched the hearts of all her knew her. ?Her passing leaves a hole in our hearts. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, in Breaux Bridge. ?Deacon Marcel ""Butch"" Hebert, will conduct the service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2, in Breaux Bridge. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2007, and continue until time of service. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
