Karry A. Collins, 43, died peacefully at her home in St. Martinville, LA on September 27, 2007. She was born on March 4, 1964 in Tucson; AZ. Karry was a loved wife, daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. She dedicated her life to her husband, children, family, and friends. Next to her family, Karry was best known for her love and dedication for the care of abandoned and strayed animals. She could often be found searching the neighborhoods for animals needing care. This passion is only matched by her love and commitment in the care of elderly individuals. She will be greatly loved and missed. Karry A. Collins is survived by her husband, Jack Collins, five children Tiffany Snidarich, Jessica (John) Reis, David Snidarich, Jason Collins, Jeremy Collins; mother, Ann (Harold) Smith; brothers, Mark Maras and Jeffrey Maras; one sister Darlene Reeder; two grandchildren, Haley VanDyck and Devin Reis; and two loved pets, Boe, her loved dog, and Bella, her loved cat. Karry Collins was preceded in death by her father, Larry M. Maras; material grandparents, Hazel and Joel Fisher; and paternal grandparents, Helen and Matt Maras. Funeral arrangements are with the Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, LA, with private family services pending. Interment will take place at the Maple Hills Cemetery in Hibbing, MN at a later date to be determined by the family.
