VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Katelyn Rene Hebert, 4, who died on Sunday, October 26, 2008. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Fr. Ed Degeyter will officiate at the funeral Mass and conduct the funeral service. Scripture readings will be read by Ashley Guidry and Sandy Trosclair. Gifts will be presented to the Altar by Marie Bourque and Jeanne Hebert. Katelyn was a Pre-K student at the Early Learning Center in St. Martinville. She enjoyed going to the camp and fishing. Katelyn was quite the pretender - always pretending she was going to the camp. She loved playing with animals and was a huge fan of "Hannah Montana." She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her mother, Marcelle Bourque Hebert, of Broussard; her father, Michael Hebert, Jr., of Erath; one sister, Kylee Hebert, of Broussard; her maternal grandparents, Christine and David Bourque, Sr., of St. Martinville; her paternal grandparents, Susan and Michael Hebert, Sr., of Erath; her maternal great grandmother, Winona Stanridge, of St. Martinville; and her paternal great grandmother, Jeanette Scott and her Maternal Great Grandparents, Godfrey and Goldie Bourque of New Iberia. She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandfather, Marcel "Paw" Fuselier; her paternal great grandfather, Johnny Scott; a great aunt, Loretta Bourque; and a great uncle, Hubert Bourque. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Tuesday and continue at 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Michael Hebert, Jr., David Bourque,Jr., Byron Fuselier, Jr., and Shane Fuselier. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
