Kathleen Marie Hamlett Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Kathleen Hamlett, 63, who passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm on Monday, and continue on Tuesday at 8:00 am until time of funeral service. A rosary will be prayed by Sister Amelie Theriot at 7:00 pm on Monday. Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Kathleen was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She was member of Counseling on Aging and enjoyed playing pokeno with friends, traveling, spending time with family, and eating Chinese food. Kathleen loved listening to music, and catching up with family and friends through Facebook. You could always find countless photos on her phone and a huge variety of music. She is survived by her loving spouse of 34 years, David Hamlett; son, Ernie "T-Boy" Talley, Jr. and wife Kasey; granddaughter, Morgan Talley; niece, Gabrielle Vincent; mother, Rita Bonin; sister, Cynthia Robin; godchildren, Melissa Robin, Dillon Vincent, Emma Racca, and Sanders Bonin; mother-in-law, Louella Hamlett; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Desire Bonin, Sr.; sister, April Vincent; brother, Desire "Sonny" Bonin, Jr.; and father-in-law, Alto Hamlett, Jr. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, 211 Berard St., Breaux Bridge, LA 70517, (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
