Kavin was born on June 13, 1967. Kavin's love for sports was infectious; he wore his pride as a Redskins fan and an LSU supporter with honor. Whether cheering from the sidelines or watching the game surrounded by loved ones, his enthusiasm was a source of joy to many. He found profound satisfaction as he shared these moments with family and friends, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Beyond his sports loyalties, Kavin was an avid fisherman. He found peace in the quiet of the water, the thrill of a bite, and the camaraderie built over lines cast with those he adored. He took great pleasure in cooking, often bringing laughter and love to the kitchen as he prepared meals for those he cherished most. His culinary delights were just as unforgettable as his conversations, often filled with candid honesty; Kavin was never one to shy away from speaking his mind.
Kavin was a true family man. His dedication to his family was unwavering, and he understood the importance of spending quality time together. He created a safe haven for his loved ones, a place where laughter echoed and stories were shared. He was not just a hard worker; he was a steadfast presence, the kind of man who believed in putting in the effort for the sake of those he loved.
Kavin will be remembered by his generous and caring heart. He would help anyone in any way possible, even if it was just to borrow his truck. He showed that even after he passed by being an organ donor.
His departure leaves a void that will be felt profoundly by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Kavin leaves behind memories steeped in laughter, love, and sheer authenticity. His legacy will continue to shine through the lives he touched, a testament to a life well-lived, filled with genuine connections, warmth, and the straightforward truths he so freely shared.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Chantel Dundas Lindon; son, Kaeun Lindon; father, Thomas Lindon (Jean); brother, Troy Bell; sisters, Crystal Bell Small and Jevel Lindon; mother-in-law, Joan Hurst; sisters-in-law, Ysushia Batiste (Dynell) and Starr Hurst; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Nora Babin and Velma Lindon; grandfathers, Thomas Lindon, Sr. and Russell Batiste; uncle, Michael Lindon.
