Keith E. Bernard

St. Martinville- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Keith E. Bernard, 66, who passed away Thursday December 29, 2022.

Father Bill Melancon will officiate at the funeral mass.  A Rosary will be prayed at 1:30 PM. Reader will be Sandra LeBlanc.

Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.

Keith enjoyed hunting, fishing and Golfing, he was a member of Sugar Oaks Golf Course.  He was also a bass player for Johnny Allen and a proud supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project.

He is survived by his son Kyle Bernard; siblings, Cynthia Champagne, Percy (Jean) Bernard, Jr., Cheryl (Melvin) Myers, Linda (Lynn) Dugas and Lonnie (Lisa) Bernard. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Cecile Henry Bernard, Sr.; sister, Dena Dutile: nephews, Lance and Blake Dutile and brother in-law Merlin Champagne.

His son Kyle Bernard will serve as pallbearer.

 Honorary Pallbearers will be John Brasseaux, Willie Lewis, Tom Degeneres, Jake Premeaux, Lonnie Bernard, Lynn Dugas, Melvin Myers and Percy Bernard, Jr..
