Keith "Slim" Viator

New Iberia - Private services will be held at a later date for Keith "Slim" Viator, 61, who passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019, in New Iberia. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, “Slim” was born on September 20, 1958 to the late Preston Viator and Marie Louella LeBlanc Viator, and worked has a roofer most of his life. An avid New Orleans Saints and LSU Tiger fan, he enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, and taking care of his beloved dogs, “Oreo” and “Claude.” Survivors include his son, Keith Dustin Viator of New Iberia; brothers, Billy Viator and wife Pamela of St. Martinville, Jessie Viator and wife Krystal of New Iberia; sister, Monique Viator Romero and husband Casey of San Angelo, Texas; godchild, Kelley Delcambre and Ashley Credeur; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Dwayne Viator and Edward Viator.
